Green Opal Palm Stone

Opal is a hydrated form of silica, classified as a mineraloid, and its water content is typically 6% to 10% by weight. There are two broad classes of opal: precious and common. Green Opal falls into the common class and does not display an iridescent display of color.

Metaphysical Properties: Green Opal is associated with the Heart Chakra, and provides rejuvenating energy to those struggling with emotional distress. The stone is calming and soothing to the touch and is a stone that can bring calm during hyperemotional times.

Because Opals are comprised of water, it is recommended to store them out of direct sunlight. They can dry out and crack as a result.
